Bryan C. Johnson-Xenitelis

Bryan received his J.D. from New York Law School in 2008.  He is a Canadian-born, naturalized US citizen and is a cofounder of the Immigration Law Students Association at New York Law School.  Bryan practices exclusively in the area of immigration law, where he represents a wide variety of clients in all categories of immigration law matters.  

Bryan focuses on O-1 and EB-1 visa petitions for artists and creative professionals with extraordinary ability in their fields and has a robust niche practice representing opera folk, including internationally-famous singers and Met Opera conductors seeking artist visas.  He also has a niche practice on the intersection of crime and immigration law and teaches Crime & Immigration at New York Law School, where he is an adjunct professor and Moot Court Fellow.

Bryan is a monthly contributor to Professor Arthur Leonard’s Gay & Lesbian Law Notes, often writing on immigration-related cases and he volunteers with the Safe Passage Project, representing immigrant children facing removal proceedings.

Prior to law school Bryan studied Civil Engineering at the University of Toronto and completed his ARCT in Piano Performance exam at the Royal Conservatory of Toronto.
